Summertime (George Gershwin)

A very popular old standard which I like to play on the whistle. It's a tune that is quite free,  in my opinion the timing (or the written notes ) don't have to be adhered to rigorously. 
This song is set in the collective consciousness, at least for people of my age, rather like a nursery rhyme.  To transfer it to the whistle is relatively easy, just think of the song! 
Play the tune with summer in mind!
