A tune written by Brendan O'Regan,
I have heard quite a few versions of this tune
It also plays well on the fiddle in D minor.
Like most tunes this is best learnt by ear and
the above dots are only an approximation. The
tune can be followed by any number of tunes.
Lunasa follow it with a reel called "Heatons
Chapel". Another band I have heard
follow it with a jolly hornpipe.
Just to confuse the issue the notes above aren't
really how it is played in my clip. That is
because I heard it played by a fiddle player
slightly differently than the above and haven't
had time to rewrite the dots. The note I start
the tune on is the E hole sliding up to the F#
so if you were playing on a D whistle it would
actually sound E to F# but as I am playing on a
Bb whistle the sound produced is C to C#
