The Buckthorn Band

Formed in 2004 The Band play a mixture of Irish and English traditional tunes and song. The band has many influences whilst striving to add and develop their own style of interpretation.

The band are left to right. Les Small;  Guitar/Fiddle/Vocals. Dave Auty; Flutes/whistles/Vocals. Mick Vallentine; Banjo/Guitar/Vocals. Ken Dixon; Mandolin/Vocals. Roger Oakley; Bass guitar, Bodhran, Vocals.
